CLIDACOR GEL is a drug containing the antibiotic clindamycin. This drug is used for acne vulgaris, especially inflammatory lesions accompanied by pustules (acne with fluid or pus).
Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibacterial that has bacteriostatic action against gram-positive bacteria.
Clindamycin inhibits the early phase of protein synthesis by binding to the 50 S subunit of bacterial ribosomes.
